So, you found the hidden page! Congratulations.
One of my interests are all sort of puzzles and tasks. I sometimes like to hide messages and meanings in my works. And I really enjoy it, if I manage to break anyone else's code.
So, where does this "west468" come from? When I was a kid, there was a TV series that was broadcasted in our telly. It was called "the Tripods" and it was a science fiction series about aliens who had invaded Earth. I was six at the time it started and I still remember the nightmares I had from the tall steel three-legged monsters roaming around the globe. Later, I still found the series fascinating, even if it nowadays looks a bit silly, since the special effects and techniques have evolved so greatly.
But West 468 was the name of one of the "Masters", the aliens, who commanded the Tripods. The Masters also had three legs and they were green (and very obviously covered with bubble plastic), and they used human slaves for their convenience. I don't know why I always liked the Master West 468 the best, even if his end was rather sad. Maybe it's because he was very smart and also kind in his own way. He even had a sense of humour.
I like to use West468 as my Internet identity, because it's relatively easy to remember and anonymous enough to make good use. (There used to be a geocacher with the same nickname in Germany, but I haven't heard of him lately.) Here is a picture of the Master West 468 with his slave Will and Will's friend Fritz.
